The Nutrient Management Regulation is undergoing its five year review and the Minister of Conservation and Water Stewardship has tasked the Manitoba Water Council with taking a survey of stakeholders affected by the regulation. The Manitoba Water Council will collate the results of the survey and provide recommendations to the Minister on whether to amend or repeal the regulation by March 18, 2013.
The objectives of the review are to:
Assess the effectiveness
• of the Nutrient Management Regulation for the last five years.
• Identify the strengths and limitations of the Regulation.
• Solicit recommendations and suggestions on what should be added, removed or amended in the Regulation.
